As a UMI client, Upfactry assumes responsibility for overseeing your stock levels. We closely monitor your inventory and usage, enabling us to proactively adapt to changes and ensure that you always have components readily available.

UMI customers can also enjoy the benefits of a fully managed external supply chain. This means relying on a single supplier with thorough understanding of their supply chain and consistently excellent lead times, without the need to manage multiple vendors.

HOW DOES UMI WORK?

Upon enrollment with UMI, we collaborate with customers to develop short- and long-term forecasts for required components.
An agreement is established with the customer to guarantee adequate stock availability at all times.
Upfactry monitors inventory levels and consumption rates within the customer's local Upfactry-managed warehouse, alongside factors on the supply side such as fluctuating lead times, shipping durations, and raw material availability.
Considering these variables, Upfactry oversees the stock level in the customer's warehouse and initiates automatic replenishment to prevent any interruptions to their manufacturing operations.
